Prompt

A beautiful emotionally irresistible children's picture-book spread, landscape 4:3, masterful gouache, watercolor and colored pencil. A small child in a mustard coat kneels beside an enormous old beech tree, delighted to discover a tiny red squirrel peeking from a hollow at eye level. Two loving parents kneel close behind, smiling with quiet wonder; one carries a small wicker basket of fallen leaves. A few beautifully painted mushrooms grow untouched in moss in the foreground. Golden autumn leaves form a luminous canopy, a winding path recedes into soft blue woodland, shafts of late sunlight illuminate the three faces and squirrel. Natural warm family gestures, richly textured brushwork, clear simple story, tasteful sophisticated palette, not glossy cartoon, no writing or border, no eating or collecting mushrooms.
